Security Roll-Up Door Installation for Storefront Protection

A returning customer reached out to Door 28, Inc. in need of a security door to cover their storefront’s automatic sliding doors. As always, our first step was to understand the customer’s specific needs and ensure the new door would provide the right balance of protection and convenience.

This project required an inside between-jamb mount application. Because of the finished jamb material, precise measurements were critical—if the door arrived too large or too small, a replacement would have been necessary. Accuracy was key, and our team delivered.

With 120VAC power supplied to the location specified by Door 28, Inc., we installed the new heavy-duty roll-up security door. The installation was tight, precise, and perfectly aligned. During the process, our technicians discovered that the jambs were constructed of concrete—a pleasant surprise, since concrete provides the ideal structural support for mounting a heavy-duty roll-up door.

We then installed the electric motor operator along with a conveniently located low-mounted key switch, making the door easy for staff to operate.
