Storefront Security Roll-Up Door Installation

During the pandemic, when riots and protests were happening across the country, a customer reached out to Door 28, Inc. looking for ways to improve their storefront security. As a business that sells tactical equipment, firearms, and ammunition, the owner wanted to ensure it would not be easy for anyone to gain access to their merchandise.

After taking measurements, we initially thought we would be covering the entire storefront. However, we soon learned that much of the storefront was already reinforced on the interior. The customer’s main concern was protecting the entry doors, which presented its own unique challenge.

This building had a low overhang, leaving very little headroom between the top of the entry doors and the lowest point of the structure. Under normal circumstances, there would not have been enough space to fit a security roll-up door. With some strategic modifications to the roll-up door head plates and cover hood, our team was able to complete the installation seamlessly.

The result was a perfect fit—tight, secure, and smooth in operation. The customer was extremely satisfied with the installation and expressed their appreciation for a job well done.
